Even the amateur leagues have all been cancelled. No final results have been established, nor will there be any ascent or descent. At the collective level, no decision or agreement has been reached. The president of the Paraguay Players` Union (FAP) advises the players, but as mentioned above, all decisions are at the club level, between players and clubs. As a general rule, negotiations take place between each club and the respective team captains and other players acting on behalf of the group. Once an agreement is reached, each player signs it. In 1978, the PFNC was created under the same representation of the PFA and the Football League under an independent president in order to meet regularly, and all issues concerning the game and players are discussed under this commission, and no changes can be made under a player`s terms without a pfa agreement. This committee was renamed in 1992 pfncc (Professional Football Negotiating and Consultative Committee), which includes the Football Federation and the newly created Premier League. Only a small number of clubs decided to negotiate with each player (fc Viitorul) and reach an agreement, most of them having adopted only the legal provisions allowing clubs to unilaterally suspend the player`s contracts. Most player contracts in India contain a standard force majeure clause, which in some cases provides for the option of suspending the contract due to the impossibility of delivery due to an epidemic.
Some clubs can be expected to attempt to invoke such clauses in order to be exempt from liability for paying their salaries to players during the period during which football activities are suspended. The FBO is currently in talks with the players` union for possible action at the collective level. These include possible pay cuts. In some cases, clubs have approached the players individually. However, I have received several reports on players trying to negotiate with their employer for future salaries and possible comparisons. It is not possible to unilaterally terminate an employment contract when there has been a case of force majeure. On the merits, the suspension of salary is not legitimate and, furthermore, part of a club`s payroll will probably be taken over by the government. A legal reduction in wages can be an ultimum remedium (last resort) in case negotiations, both at the collective and individual levels, do not lead to a successful solution.
According to the Dutch Civil Code, a unilateral reduction in the employer`s salary is only legitimate if certain strict criteria are met. It is not yet clear whether and when an appeal against this article of the Dutch Civil Code can succeed. Currently, all sports activities, leagues and competitions in Ukraine remain suspended. Footballers now train individually at home or under the control of club staff in small groups of 2-4 players on the field, keeping a distance of at least 1.5 meters between each other. In England, the terms of an employment contract can only be changed amicably. The situation is similar. As with dismissal on the back of force majeure, the principles of suspension and/or modification of employment contracts in Spain are enshrined in national labour law (the ERTE system), which generally prohibits workers from renouncing the rights recognized by law. It is also possible that the second division (3rd division) will not continue competitions for economic (low finance) and sporting reasons (third division teams play together in three rounds, as all teams have already played twice against each other and the competitions could be fair from a sporting point of view).
